Sister Stone: Tennessee, Nashville Mission

Hi Family and Friends!!! So, this week has been full of events. We put together a ward potluck and pie contest and invited pretty much everyone we met tracting, walking, driving, you name it. We told the members to invite their friends, family and neighbors. Well, evening of the pie contest came and the ward showed up, and everyone that came brought a pie!! It was great! We had 2 people we're teaching come. We were glad that they came, but were a little sad that not many people we had invited and reminded came. But, it was a great evening! We had 2 less-actives come as well!  It has also been fun to correlate and coordinate with my fellow Sister Training Leaders (STL's). We are in a split trio STL companionship so it is a little difficult to plan things. However, I am so grateful we are a technology mission. Hi Family and Friends!!! This week has been SO great!! I had the opportunity to go finding, receive answers to prayers, share the Book of Mormon with people and so much more. I could just end my email there, but I won't. :) Here's a few highlights. 1. Sister Fox and I really wanted to find someone that wanted to know more about the gospel and start acting on that knowledge. We are always looking for those people and talking to everyone yet we decided to try things a little differently. Sister Fox and I prayed about where we should go, then we picked a place. We asked Heavenly Father to guide us to those that were ready or to put them in our path. We only had half an hour before an appointment to do this. So, we went out. We both had faith that we would find someone. We parked and immediately both of us pointed to a house and felt that we should start there. We knocked and met a wonderful woman. Hi Family and Friends!!!  This week has been another great week here in Tennessee! I found out yesterday that I will be staying in Fayetteville another transfer with Sister Fox. However, I have been asked to serve as a sister training leader this transfer. So, I have a few more meetings to attend. I am excited for the opportunity to get to know the sisters in my zone better and to help them.  As for my wonderful area, we are continually finding. However, more people are coming out of the works for us to teach. I am amazed at how they seem to find us or how we are led to them. I know when we faithfully find, the Lord puts the people in our path that he has prepared. We simply have to go forth.   I made a goal to talk to EVERYONE about the gospel, and look for opportunities on the way to/from appointments to serve and talk to people. Hi Family and Friends! This week was truly wonderful. I had exchanges with some other sisters in the mission. I love exchanges as it allows me to learn from other sisters.  I was with Sister Sanders from my favorite state of UT! She taught me a lot! After the exchange I was able to come back with my wonderful companion Sister Fox! She's also truly amazing!  As for the work, we've been doing a lot of finding. It's always a test of patience and diligence. However, I love it! We've found a few people to start teaching and I'm excited! I have one experience I wanted to share.  I have been praying to be able to find someone to truly teach who wants to learn more about the gospel. Well, yesterday morning I said a very specific prayer asking to find the "one". Later yesterday we were at a members house and he told us that we should stop by his moms house down the street.
