The Best 4 Months

Hello Family and Friends!!! Transfers Well, the time has finally come for me to leave wonderful Fayetteville! I'll now be serving in West Fork and my companion will be Sister Beltran! I'm sad to leave these good people and the best companion but I'm excited for the new people, personalities and challenges to come.  Temple So this week we were able to go to the temple with some recent converts of the ward. It was so cool to witness them receive blessings that come with entering the temple. They are so sweet and I'll miss them dearly! I love the temple! I'm so glad we have one within driving distance!  Finding It has been a great week! It's been crazy because our teaching pool has increased so much in the last couple of days. Prayers have been answered! We've been grinding with finding and Heavenly Father has blessed our efforts. We have a few people to teach now and some potentials. I know that Heavenly Father does prepare people even if it ...

The rains came down and the floods came up...

Hi Family and Friends!!! This week has been so great! It's also been very wet! We're expecting 8-13 inches of rain this week and we've already seen a lot of rain so far. Nothing too eventful this week. But, here's a few highlights. Exchanges This week I was able to go on exchanges with Hermana Brinton. She's so sweet!! I learned a lot from her. She's so happy all the time! Even when no one wants to talk to us. She's great! Now I'm back with my lovely companion Sister DeGraw.  The Flood So Fayetteville is on flood warning. The park is flooded and a few roads are closed because they are now river crossings. It's crazy. Today we were driving and there were whole fields that are lakes now. School was canceled today due to the flooding as well. And, it's scheduled to rain until Saturday! Crazy! It was funny. One of our recent converts texted us asking if we owned a boat..... He said we should invest in one. Haha!  Chick-Fil-A Af...

Seeing the Hand of the Lord

Howdy Y'all! This week has been SO good!! Here's some highlights! Baptism Exciting news everyone! We have a baptism this week! Eric is being baptized! WAHOO!! He's so awesome! We've been teaching him for about 3 weeks now and he's been turning over his life to better follow the Savior. We're excited for him to enter into the waters of baptism and receive the joy that comes with repenting and coming unto the Lord! Exchanges This week I had the opportunity to go on exchanges with Sister Williams! She's so wonderful! I always learn so much on exchanges! It was so great to have Sister Williams with me. She has such a sweet spirit and is such a great missionary! I'm back now with my dear companion Sister DeGraw now!  Hand of the Lord This week has been really good. I am simply blown away at how much I've seen the Lord's hand this week. I've had a lot of questions in which I turned to Heavenly Father to receive my answers. ...

A Hospital for Sinners

Hi Family and Friends!  It's been another great week here in Tennessee!  This week was great for many reasons. Here's a few highlights. Zone Conference ! So, here in TN if there's even a rumor of snow, everyone freaks out. It's pretty good. So, we had zone conference scheduled for Tuesday this week which was when the initial snow was going to touch down. However, since the National Weather Statement said there was going to be snow, Zone Conference was changed to Monday. And, what a tender mercy that change was to me. Zone Conference was amazing! I always learn so much and receive so many answers and advice to help our area. I was so blessed that it was changed as I was able to see my trainer (Sister Henley) again! WAHOO! Sick ... I was unfortunately unwell for a few days this week. However, another tender mercy is that I didn't get sick until after zone conference. I'm very glad it was changed to Monday! However, I am doing good now. I'm h...
