A Hospital for Sinners
Hi Family and Friends!
It's been another great week here in Tennessee!
This week was great for many reasons. Here's a few highlights.
Zone Conference!
So, here in TN if there's even a rumor of snow, everyone freaks out. It's pretty good. So, we had zone conference scheduled for Tuesday this week which was when the initial snow was going to touch down. However, since the National Weather Statement said there was going to be snow, Zone Conference was changed to Monday. And, what a tender mercy that change was to me. Zone Conference was amazing! I always learn so much and receive so many answers and advice to help our area. I was so blessed that it was changed as I was able to see my trainer (Sister Henley) again! WAHOO!
Sick...
I was unfortunately unwell for a few days this week. However, another tender mercy is that I didn't get sick until after zone conference. I'm very glad it was changed to Monday! However, I am doing good now. I'm happy and well!
Church!
This week was awesome as we had a person we're teaching come to church! And, he said he received a lot of answers from it!! I also had some questions and the church service answered my questions as well. I love church! I'm so glad that the Spirit is always there! I know that as we go into church with a meek heart ready to receive answers, we will receive them! I know that Heavenly Father answers our prayers.
My challenge for y'all is to go to church with a question or two. Take those questions to the Lord. Then, get to church early. Listen to the talks with an open heart. I know that y'all will receive your answers and the Spirit will be with you. I know that church attendance can build our faith and help us receive answers. I've seen it in my life. I encourage y'all to let church attendance bless you and your families lives. Remember, "church is just a hospital for sinners." An apostle said that I believe. :)
I love y'all and appreciate all the love and support. Also, thanks to all the youth who sent me a letter! The letters brightened my week! I sure love y'all! I know that this is Jesus Christ's church. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know Heavenly Father answers prayers. He knows us. He loves us personally and individually. Turn to Him. He will always be there with open arms.
Have a fabulous week!
Love,
Sister Madeline Stone
