Testimonies and Tears

Hi Family and Friends!!!  This week has been so stellar! Here are some highlights: Full-time Car This week we truly saw many miracles. One of which happened on Friday. We had spent a lengthy period of time planning out rides and no one could give us a few. We were stressing out. I was praying for some help. My prayers answer came 10 mins later when we got a text from the assistants to President Stone. They said that active immediately we had a full-time car! Sister Beltran and I shouted for joy. I almost cried. A full-time car has made having 2 areas manageable and has helped us truly do what we need to do and get where we need to get to.  Wendys..... Sister Beltran and I had a later lunch the other day because we had an appointment. So, we did the natural thing and got a Wendy's 4 for 4. We went in and were eating when this older man came up and started talking to us. He asked if we were going to school here. We explained that we were actually missionaries. ...

Hi Family and Friends!!! The weeks seem to fly by! At least, this one did. Here's a few highlights. Rain This week we had a few appointments and we didn't have a car. So, we planned our route to walk. We didn't however plan on the weather that came. We started talking to this guy about the gospel and then it started raining. We had one small umbrella and no rain boots... Haha! We ended up talking to this man for about 30 mins about the gospel and he offered us an umbrella to take with us. Southern hospitality is real y'all! So, we continued our journey. Our feet became soaked and a truck splashed Sister Beltran. She tried to defend herself with her umbrella from the tsunami that came. She ended up being soaked. . She's the best! With all the rain, and being soaked we were still so happy!  Biking This week I found some muscles I didn't know existed or now exist. Haha. With the part-time car we've been doing a lot more walking and biking. Yeste...

Hi Family and Friends!!!! This week has been so good! I feel like there's never a spare moment lately. But, it's been so wonderful! I love being busy! The ward has helped us out so much with rides, food, and sharing the gospel.  Some highlights from the week: Tornado Warning We were at the church and bolted to our car as it was pouring down. By the time we got to the car it looked like ran under a waterfall. Haha! Well, we had to get home so we started driving. (Really slow and safe. Don't worry mom!) Well, let's just say it was some extreme weather out there. We were talking about all the tornado warnings, lightening storms etc. We decided to warn the member we live with about the roads as they were very wet. So, we called and it was a good thing we did. She told us that there was a tornado warning right now right next to where we live! So, we got home quick and went in the laundry room. We stayed in there with the members family and waited it out. Whil...

Hey Y'all!  This week has been crazy but so good! So, I got transferred and am now covering 2 wards here in the Murfreesboro area with Sister Beltran! It's been interesting and challenging to be working both areas but I've seen SO many tender mercies and God's hand! I'm so glad that Sister Beltran is my companion because I don't know how I'd survive without her!  Lifted Up There's been so much going on! For y'all that haven't visited the units here in the south, they are a little bit bigger for their ward boundaries than in the west. For example, West Fork's ward area alone is 25 miles long. Then add another ward to that and you'd say we have a little bit of ground to cover. To make things a little more challenging, we have a part-time car. (We get the car for 3 days then switch. The mission is currently switching out models so there's a HUGE short in the mission. They're doing their best with what they have! We apprecia...
