Preparing for the Sacrament

Hey Family and Friends!!!

This week has been so amazing! We had exchanges and so many great things happened! I've learned a lot this week. One thing I was reminded was that it's never too late to change and be better. Here's a few highlights.

1. Sacrament Meeting
This week I decided to do more personally to prepare for the sacrament. I studied the Atonement each day as well as saying and repenting daily as President Nelson has asked us to do. I've really seen a difference. One thing I've noticed is that during the sacrament meeting I've felt the Spirit stronger and speak personally to me. I've felt a closer relationship with my Heavenly Father and felt more gratitude for my Savior. Something else that helped me have a spiritual experience during sacrament was not looking to others but looking to Christ. I invite y'all to prepare personally for the sacrament this week and the weeks following. Study the scriptures, conference talks, pray, follow President Nelson's counsel of repenting daily, and "Look to Christ and Live." I know that as you do this, you will feel the Atonement in your life daily. You will feel the Spirit more. And, you will be able to "do better and be better".

2. The referral
We had a woman that was a referral that when we talked to her she wanted NOTHING to do with us. However, after we walked away from her house I had one thought come into my mind. We were a little down and hurt. But, the Spirit whispered how in those hard times, God is right by us. I remembered that Jesus was mocked and ridiculed for the gospel and following His will and when I was treated like that, I felt like I was shoulder to shoulder with my Savior for a tiny moment.

I sure love y'all! Keep on looking to Christ! You will find more joy despite your circumstances as you do that! I know that I have!

Love y'all!
