I don't have much to say this week. Sabina was baptized this week! It was wonderful! It's great to see her grow! I learned this week that there really is opposition in all things. At Sabina's baptism we got a text from Angelina. She said that her and her girls wouldn't be able to be baptized due to some family issues. We immediately went over to her house and talked with her. As of right now, their baptisms are off. That was really hard. We are still teaching them so that one day, when the time is right, they will be baptized.
Satan was really working on me this week. I thought that once I left on my mission he wouldn't touch me. (Y'all are probably laughing at that one.) Haha, I was SO wrong. Satan really tried to get me down. In fact, I was feeling not so great on Monday. So, I asked for a priesthood blessing. It continues to amaze me at how Heavenly Father understands ALL of my problems. He is ALWAYS there to lift me up and strengthen me. The Elder that gave me a blessing didn't know what was wrong, but because he is a worthy priesthood holder he was able to give me a blessing directly from my Heavenly Father. I was told exactly what I needed to do and what I needed to hear from my Heavenly Father. I am so grateful to be blessed by the priesthood.
That's pretty much it folks! Life is good, but it is definately hard. I'm so blessed to be able to face challenges and grow by them.
My challenge for y'all this week is to look for the positive in life. There's so much good, but there's also so much bad. We have to be looking for the good. Whatever we look for is what we're going to find. So, let's be happy about life! As Elder Uchtdorf says, "Find joy in the journey."
I love y'all!
Love,
Sister Stone
