Revelation in the Last Days

Hi Family and Friends!!

A lot of changes happened this week in the mission field! We had a mission wide conference call on Monday where we were told that the Preach My Gospel has been revised! Now, Preach My Gospel has been adjusted to meet member, and missionary needs! Also, how to train new missionaries has also been revised! That change also affected me immensely as I'm training a new missionary. It's amazing to see all the changes that the church is making! It is truly wonderful. 

All these changes have helped me reflect on the 9th Article of Faith, "We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God." We are witnessing these new revelations TODAY! The doctrine isn't changing. The church is not apostate. :) We are simply preparing in these last days through revelations given to President Nelson for Jesus Christ's second coming. These changes are not a new thing. As the 9th Article of Faith states," We believe that He will reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God." We are simply seeing these things come to pass with changes in the youth program, scout program, ministering, high priest/elders quorum, the hymn/children's books, and now the PMG missionary resource. Isn't it wonderful that we have a prophet called of God to lead and guide us as a church?! I know that these changes are not random but what Heavenly Father needs of us at this time. We are here to learn, grow, and help others do the same through the gospel. 

Elder Bednar shared, "If you think these changes that President Nelson is making are a lot, these are just snowflakes to the blizzard ahead." There are more revisions/changes to come and we need to prepare ourselves for those changes. The Lord is hastening his work! I am seeing it every day in the mission field. Things are speeding up. I know that this church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is led and guided by a prophet called of God. President Nelson is here on the Earth to help us prepare the way for our Savior. I know that we can all receive personal revelation as well. 

My challenge for y'all this week is to pray about these new inspired changes. Pray to know if these changes/revisions are from God. President Nelson spoke in conference about how we should pray for and seek personal revelation. I have done this and will continue to do so. Immense blessings have come down since, and continue to amaze me. I strongly encourage each and every one of you to do the same. Seek personal revelation and ask about the revelation our wonderful prophet has given us and will continue to do so. 

I know that this church is the only true church on the Earth today. We have the fulness of the gospel. I know that we are led by a prophet of God. I am blessed to be able to share that knowledge with everyone I meet. I love my Heavenly Father and am so grateful that he sent his son Jesus Christ to atone for me. I love this church. I love my family, and I love each of y'all. Have a great week!
