Baptism!
Hi Friends and Family!!!
First, Happy Mothers Day on Sunday!
This week has just flown by! Alex and Brandon Wilke were baptized on Saturday! It was a great day followed by a great fast and testimony meeting. I almost died when Brandon Wilke turned to me and said (during testimony meeting), "I guess it's my turn to go up." He then walked up and bore a great testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel and how we can all receive personal revelation. I see the light and joy that this gospel brings to others everyday of my mission!
So I got some exciting news yesterday! I've been asked to train a new missionary! I was a little nervous but I'm mostly excited! I know that I can do it with Heavenly Father's help! I'm sure gonna need it! But, I know just as Nephi did that "the Lord giveth no commandment (or training assignment) unto the children of man, save he shall prepare a way for them to accomplish the thing which he hath commanded them". I know that this is a time of growth for both my new companion and I. I'm excited for this opportunity to serve and be stretched as a missionary! I know that with Heavenly Father on my side, nothing is impossible!
My challenge for y'all this week is to say a prayer of gratitude to Heavenly Father. I've found that the times when I've been the most stressed out, are the times that I've seen the Lord's hand more often. Give thanks to Him:) I promise as you do this, you'll find joy and gratitude in all things! I love ya!
