Conference and Tornados
This week has just been amazing!
To start off with something funny...
Yesterday Sis Henley and I were out finding and we were joking about what we would do if there was a tornado. The sky was really ominous at the time. Well, we were talking to a family when they said, "You know we are on a tornado watch right now, right?" We looked at each other and laughed at our stupidity. We immediately went home and beat the storm. We then sat in the bathroom for 3 hours while a raging storm passed. But, it all ended well:)
This week was also stellar because I got to watch General Conference!! Not only did I get to listen and watch General Conference, but I got to watch one of the sessions with 2 investigators! Before conference I wrote down a lot of questions. Well, I'm happy to say that ALL of those questions were answered during conference! Isn't it amazing that we can all receive our individual answers to questions from a world-wide broadcast?! I know that, like President Nelson has said, "we can all receive personal revelation, not just once, but daily. " I know this to be true! All of us can be guided and taught by the Holy Ghost. All that we have to do for this is to be worthy, listening, searching and willing to act on our answers/promptings.
So, my challenge for y'all this week is to follow President Nelson's council and seek to receive personal revelation daily! Also, re-read or watch the conference addresses as well! I've been reading a conference talk a day and as I've done this, I am reminded of my thoughts, feelings and promptings that I had during conference. I invite y'all to do the same:)
