Trust in God. Act in Faith.

Hey Family and Friends!!

This week has been amazing! I've had a lot of really awesome experiences!

I've been especially studying/working on Trusting in the Lord with Faith. I was really struggling on having faith that the Lord would send Sister Henley and I to people that are ready to hear our message. However, my prayers were answered, my heart was changed, and my soul has been uplifted. I say this because, I started praying that I would be excited and not nervous to talk to people. Every day I've prayed to have a good attitude. Yesterday, I woke up, prayed, and read a talk about faith. The talk was, "Fourth Floor Last Door." by Dieter F. Uchtdorf. In this talk, it talked about how we need to have faith that Heavenly Father will prepare his people, then trust that He will guide us to them. After I read that, I was super excited to find people! I truly felt a change in my heart and attitude.

After all of this had happened, Sister Henley and I went out to try and contact a lady that requested a Book of Mormon online. We had tried to contact her multiple times. However, this time, we prayed in faith that she would answer and be ready to meet with us. We trusted that the Lord would find a way. (1 Nephi 3:7) We knocked on her door twice and there was no response. We knocked one last time, and the door opened. Not only was this lady home, but she was excited to start reading the Book of Mormon. She asked us a bunch of questions, we answered all of them. She told us how she has been searching for 14 years, talking with all kinds of ministers, preachers, pastors, etc. However, she said, in all 14 years, she hasn't met anyone as honest and heart felt as us. She could see the light of Christ in us. Heavenly Father prepares his children to hear this gospel. We have to trust in Him with faith, and He will guide us to those He has prepared. He doesn't ever say that it's going to be easy. Missions are hard, but so are a lot of things. I know that as we trust in God, He will provide a way. He knows us. He loves us. I love all of you! I know that this church is true and I'm so glad that I have the opportunity to share the joy it brings me with others. Trust in Him! Live in Faith! Endure to the End!

I forgot to mention how I went to the Hopkinsville museum today. The curator is a member and once she saw we were missionaries she told us she had a Book of Mormon in storage that was super old. She let us go up to storage and hold it with her gloves. It's from 1891! Just holding it, I felt the spirit so strong and was reassured that it held the same exact truths today, as it did in the old days. The spirit was so strong. I know that Book of Mormon is true!

Here's some pictures.
Sorry, there's not a lot this week!
